About

Fox Valley Workforce Development Area

The Fox Valley Workforce Development Area is served by a number of different organizations and agencies focused on workforce needs in Calumet, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Waupaca, Waushara and Winnebago Counties.

The Fox Valley Workforce Development Board (FVWDB) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that serves as one of the Workforce Investment Boards established first by the 1998 federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and recently the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) of 2014. FVWDB administers WIOA programs, operates One-Stop Job and Career Centers, and provides business services to employers in our six county area. A majority of our funds come through the Department of Labor.

FVWDB and its subcontractors, works closely with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD), local technical colleges and other education providers, along with a number of community organizations to help meet the workforce demands in our area.

The Fox Valley Workforce Development Board is an equal opportunity employer and service provider.
